Hello. I am Lead Email Systems Engineer at Columbia University Information Technology. My team administers Columbia’s main email system, serving 55,000 active users. I do a mixture of things: development, operations, junk mail control and security, and problem-solving. I work with Sendmail, Cyrus IMAP, Mimedefang, Spamassassin, Perl, shell scripting, and a little C, running on Solaris and Linux systems. I use Mac OS X on my workstation and at home.

This photo is really getting old, but I like it. In my mind I still look like this. The London Transport Museum doesn’t look like this any more either.

Incredibly this is only eight years earlier than the previous one. That’s the Great Falls of the Passaic. I wasn’t eating in those days.
